The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting chargers, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
