Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
