The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
