The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
