The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
