Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 excusing or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
