The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
