The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
