Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
