The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
