Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the chargers panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
