The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
