Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
