The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
