The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
