The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
