The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
