The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A flaming fire! 11
