The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
