The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
