The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
