The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Striking! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A burning fire. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
