Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Almighty God's Truth.
