Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
