The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
