The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In extended columns. 9
