Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In pillars stretched forth (i.e. they will be punished in the Fire with pillars, etc.). 9

Almighty God's Truth.
