The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9
