The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extending columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
