The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 covered down upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
