The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In extended columns. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
