The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who has gathered riches and counted them over 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 covered down upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9
