The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
