The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not make their plan into misguidance? 2 And send against them swarms of flying creatures, 3 which smote them with stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
