Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
