Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
