Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
