SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
