Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
