Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
