Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame! 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
