Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
