Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak 1 "from the evil of aught that He has created, 2 And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes, 3 From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies.” 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
