The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
