The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

ALL PRAISE BE to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 You alone we worship and from You alone we seek help (and may we always). 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
