The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 the path of those to whom You have granted blessings, those who are neither subject to Your anger nor have gone astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
