Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?" Say, "They are for those who believe during the worldly life [but] exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection." Thus do We detail the verses for a people who know. 32 Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know." 33 And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment). 34 O Children of Adam! If there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting to you, My Verses, then whosoever becomes pious and righteous, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. 35 But those who deny Our signs and disdain them, shall belong to Hell, where they will abide for ever. 36 And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses? Those will attain their portion of the decree until when Our messengers come to them to take them in death, they will say, "Where are those you used to invoke besides Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us," and will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. 37 Allah will say: enter the Fire among the communities who have passed away before you, of genii and mankind. So oft as a community will enter it, it shall curse its sister, until, when all shall have arrived one after another therein, the last of them shall say of the first of them: our Lord! these led us astray; so mete out unto them a double torment of the Fire, He will say: to each, double; but ye know not. 38 And the first of them saith unto the last of them: Ye were no whit better than us, so taste the doom for what ye used to earn. 39
