The dead land is a sign for them. We revive it, and from it produce grain from which they eat. 33 and produced therein grains from which they eat and established therein gardens of palms trees and vineyards and have made streams flow therein 34 So that they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks? 35 Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not! 36 And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark; 37 And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 38 And the moon - We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk. 39 how the sun is not supposed to catch-up with the moon, nor is the night to precede the day. All of them are to float in a certain orbit; 40 And a sign for them is that We carried their seed in the laden ship, 41 And We have created for them of the like thereunto, so on them they ride. 42 If it were Our Will, We could drown them: then would there be no helper (to hear their cry), nor could they be delivered, 43 except through Our Mercy and as enjoyment for awhile. 44 When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless). 45 And there comes not to them a communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it. 46 And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error." 47 And they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 48 They are awaiting only for one Cry to seize them while they are yet disputing, 49 Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family. 50
