▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

And let not those who disbelieve think that they can outstrip (escape from the punishment). Verily, they will never be able to save themselves (from Allah's Punishment). 59 Make ready for them whatever force and strings of horses you can, to terrify thereby the enemy of God and your enemy, and others besides them that you know not; God knows them. And whatsoever you expend in the way of God shall be repaid you in full; you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, do thou incline to it; and put thy trust in God; He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 61 And if they desire to trick thee, God is sufficient for thee; He has confirmed thee with His help, and with the believers, 62 and brought their hearts together. If you had given away all the riches of the earth, you could not have so united them, but Allah has united them. He is Almighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and (for) such of the believers as follow you. 64
