۞ Then is he who knows that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded who are people of understanding - 19 Those who fulfill the Covenant of Allah and break not the Mithaq (bond, treaty, covenant); 20 Who keep together what God has ordained held together, and fear their Lord and dread the hardship of the Reckoning, 21 who exercise patience to gain God's pleasure, who are steadfast in prayer, who spend for the cause of God privately and in public, and who keep away evil with good will have a blissful end. 22 They shall enter the eternal Gardens of Eden, along with the righteous from among their fathers, wives and descendants. From every gate the angels will come to them, saying, 23 Saying: "(Welcome,) peace on you, for you persevered." How excellent the recompense of Paradise! 24 And those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and sever that which Allah hath commanded should be joined, and make mischief in the earth: theirs is the curse and theirs the ill abode. 25 Allah doth enlarge, or grant by (strict) measure, the sustenance (which He giveth) to whomso He pleaseth. (The wordly) rejoice in the life of this world: But the life of this world is but little comfort in the Hereafter. 26
